Bunbukan Brussels is a section ofBudo Club Berchem a club specializing in the teaching of Japanese martial arts since 1977.
The club offers five disciplines:
- Karate Shito-Ryu
- Ryukyu Kobudo
- Aikido,
- Judo,
- Ju-Jutsu
Recognized by the various sports federations and the municipality ofBerchem-Sainte-Agathe Budo Club Berchem is actively involved in local life. As such, we have a representative on theSports Advisory Council of the municipality.
The sectionKarate Shito Ryu is affiliated to theVlaamse Karaté Associatie (VKA) as well as Dento Shito Ryu International eV, guaranteeing high-quality training and international recognition.
The RyukyuRyukyu Kobudo section is recognized by theOkinawa Traditional Kobudo Preservation Association a prestigious organization based in Naha, Okinawa, dedicated to the preservation of traditional martial arts.
